Who is Technocat?

Cat Casey (aka The TechnoCat)  is Chief Growth Officer at Reveal Brainspace, helping lead marketing and direction for Reveal’s legal technology solutions. She is a frequent guest lecturer and outspoken advocate of legal professionals embracing technology to deliver better legal outcomes. A globally recognized eDiscovery expert, Cat is passionate about educating legal professionals about eDiscovery, emerging data and all things legal AI. 

Casey is one of the select few Chief growth Officers in the rapidly growing legal technology space and one of very few women serving in this function.   With a decade and a half of experience in senior roles in the legal technology space she has seen firsthand the rapid influx of technology and the displacement for those who have not adapted. Before joining Reveal, Casey was the Chief Innovation officer for a leading Legal AI company and director of eDiscovery and Technology for Gibson Dunn a top ten global law firm. She led a global team of experienced practitioners in the areas of electronic discovery, data privacy, and InfoGov. 

She has served firsthand as a practitioner for multiple legal technology firms, ran a global technology practice for a top 10 law firm and was a national expert on eDiscovery, Cyber, and Legal Technology at both KPMG and PWC.

A writer and speaker on the evolving role of humans in a post AI and augmented intelligence space, she is regarded as a leading mind in the rapidly expanding (10B+) legal technology space.  

Casey has been published in the National Law Journal, Inside Counsel, New York Law Journal, The Lawyer and many publications.  She has served as a panelist and keynote on multiple occasions at Legal Tech, The Master’s Conference, SOLID, IQPC, Women in eDiscovery, Women in Technology, and numerous regional events.
